Make sense...

I was browsing through just about anything on the great world wide web and came across a certain post about gemstones and their meanings. It's kind of amazing to know what turquoise or pearl among all the other gemstones out there signifies.

Isn't that great when, say, you have "purity and wisdom" on your hands when you're wearing a Pearl ring like this one?

How about putting "strength and courage" to your wrist with a bracelet inlaid with precious Onyx stones?

Or maybe, what you need is to wear the right amount of  "confidence" over your neck to maintain your glam with the sparkly Aquamarine necklace.

Better yet, put "honesty and truth" in you by wearing this Turquoise drop earrings.

There you go. I've shared a few of the most common gemstones that we see everywhere. Now, I won't tell you to believe what those precious stones signify. But, what I will tell you is that it wouldn't harm either if you do. Its good to express and imply something through the stuff you're wearing. Simply put, make a statement. That's why it's called fashion statement.

Blossom up!

Floral dress or floral clothes in general are said to imply escapism and somehow gives relief from all of the stress and struggles you may be having at work or at home. That being said, I decided to feature the florals for me.. and for you to lighten things up a bit.

If you've been so tired and just need a breather, see if these items will somehow lead to an escape from the hectic lifestyle you have.

You can feel the aura of joy by just merely looking at this tank top by Karen Kane

Vibrant floral jeans paired with nude heels and a plain top to give you that care free look.

Not only a great preparation for spring, this Kensie dress paired with the right bunch of separates, can also be at your comfort zone all winter season long.

For those who are a bit weary of bold floral prints on dresses or tops, flowery heels (Dune Delila Floral Pointed Court Shoes) or accessories (Floral Statement Necklace by Sorelli) can be a subtler alternative to be in trend.

Color my World!

You know what they say about colors? There's plenty of them in the rainbow! And I'm still working on making rainbows to my wardrobe. From the basic colors of red, yellow and blue to the most eye-catching pink and tangerine. When almost everyone's wearing the old winter gray, I've always loved the feeling of standing out and not taking part of the majority. Here comes the rebel me!

Speaking of colors, let me introduce to you some of my hand-picked pieces that would brighten up your closets even this cold season.

This one's a keeper, a trench that would last from winter to spring.

Be bold. Be fun. Be loud. And be cheerful as this orange skinny jeans by Guess.

There's nothing as sweet and lovely way of maintaining color in your winter wardrobe than this pink Ted Baker's Cardigan.

Or a simple accessory can make a difference like this blue silicone strap watch.

If those terrific colors feel overwhelming to you, take it in small doses like this gorgeous red shoes

Who says bright colors are only for summers? Keep all your options or rather colors open. Be fierce and go against the waves!

Read...(or rather Shop) between the "LINES"

After doing the dots on my previous post, I think the "lines" are calling out for attention when a striped top was the first thing I reached for as I opened up my closet this morning. Isn't that weird or what? So, with all due respect to the world of stripes, I am laying out some items that are worth the stripe!

Shine on me!

I felt glitterish (if that's even a word) when I woke up this morning. So, my desire for sparkly pieces soared up high...again. Come on, am I the only one feeling ridiculously happy when thinking of the shiny glitz?! Oh well, for what it's worth, I listed 3 items that would make you stand out for all the right reasons! Be careful though, these pieces shouldn't be worn all at the same time in one attire, not if you don't want to look like a walking disco ball!

A shiny clutch can automatically do magic in turning a simple and subtle look into incredibly chic attire.
For a relaxed and comfortable feel, opt for chunky sparkles on your feet like this Sam Edelman Adena Stud Detail Satin Slippers

This Silver Sparkle Tank by Guess is perfect to jazz up any girl's night out.
A piece of advice, just keep the rest of your accessories simple to prevent visual overload.

It's all about the color!

Although I normally wear the typical black-and-grey winter wardrobe, this year I am taking up a notch on the bright bold colors and create a winter wonderland of my own. Starting up with this Bright lights coat by French Connetion.

I love this trench to pieces! Just perfect for last minute replacement for the dark, winter wardrobe!
